More About OTUMFUO OSEI TUTU II PREPARATORY AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

OUR STORY

At just 15 years old, Maame has to hawk firewood to cater for herself and her family.

No, she is not a teenage mother.

No, she did not choose to live this way.

She just happens to be in an unfortunate situation.

She has been orphaned by the dreaded HIV/AIDS.

She lost her parents to the virus and now the responsibility falls on her to work to support her education.

Unfortunately, (because it’s sad) and fortunately (because we can support), this happens to be the plight of a large number of students from Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Preparatory and Junior High School.

At the end of a school day, they return to a home without parents, love and basic needs.

With our generous donations, we can help change this.

Donate to a worthy cause.

“We do not know how to bring their deceased parents to life. What we do know is how to love, support and care for these students as our own.”

About the school

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Preparatory & Junior High School is a Non-Governmental, Not-For-Profit Organization with Registration Number CS009762018. The school has a total population of 500 pupils, 300 beings girls, and the rest being boys.

There are 30 staff members, including teaching and non-teaching staff. Most of the pupils have lost either a parent or are living with a guardian who cannot support them financially.  Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Ghana, therefore, seeks funds to enable the school to educate and care for these deprived pupils.
