Major. His first combat mission was the Battle of Mogadishu, Somalia (Black Hawk Down). CSM Satterly was involved in and lead some of the United States Military's most important campaigns around the world including Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia, to name a few. He personally lead a 10,000 person Task Force in Iraq and has been awarded several groups and personal medals including 5 Bronze Stars, 2 with Valor. Upon retirement, CSM Satterly continued his service to the country by teaching the next generation of warfighters as the Director of Business Development for a military contracting firm. Tom still serves in that capacity along with serving as the President of the Board of Directors for the foundation he co-founded, All Secure Foundation. Tom has a passion for helping his brother and sisters in arms find footing after service, to rebuild their home life, and to aid in volunteer work with other nonprofit groups. His book titled "All Secure" will be released by Hachette Publishing in November 2019.
