Future Connect Ghana (FCG) is an independent registered non-governmental and nonprofit organization based at the Upper East Region and operates in the northern and upper regions of Ghana. FCG fosters an integrated community development, expands living standards and support in the creation of sustainable communities. FCG prime slogan is “Expanding Horizons” for building sustainable communities through capacity building and services delivery to the deprived and marginalized people of the society.nnFCG’s mission is to achieve an expanded capacity and opportunity where they live a better life, away from poverty, hunger and increased environmental stewardship, community economic vitality and social inclusions. FCG aims at expanding horizons by creating sustainable programs to promote youth in agriculture, increase livelihood by empowering women and girls economically, increase productivity and crop yield through scientific research and innovation and building sustainable communities. Recognizing the immense role of the youth in contributing to the agricultural revolution, it is imperative to fashion-out a long-term all-inclusive program that would appeal and inspire the youth to actively participate in agriculture as a career.nnOur Vision and GoalnA country in which the youth are empowered in available opportunities to increase the economic vitality of the communities in which they live in.nnThe goal of FCG is to contribute in improving the economic vitality and the living standard of the vulnerable communities in Ghana through effective community mobilization, capacity building, advocacy & strengthening of institutions at the grass root level.nnOur Approach/StrategynnFuture Connect Ghana is committed to building a strong community youth networks to drive the sustainable communities and poverty reduction agenda. Now is the time to seek alternatives and develop within constraints, thus FCG facilitates people in the rural communities to extract the capital necessary for community development in the three spheres that affect sustainable community development. We use our programme; Climate change and resiliency, Agriculture science research and innovation, policy and Advocacy, etc. to create the balance within the interplay of economic, social and environment (the three spheres). The program goal is materialized with a helping hand from members, donor agencies, Philanthropists, etc.
