The noble mission of Nonprofit organizations often attracts people from other sectors who seek to find meaning in their vocation that may not be found in other sectors. For better or worse, employees do come into Nonprofit work with an expectation that organizational leadership and organizational culture will be different, better. They are often met with disappointment when they find these organizations function similarly to every other type of organization and sometimes worse.
This workshop will explore some of these good and bad expectations of organizational life in the Nonprofit and how to create organizational cultures that not only attract but retain healthy, flourishing, and engaged employees and increase the likelihood of mission achievement.
