More About Sadanah Foundation
Unite4India (U4I) is a campaign launched by the Sadanah Foundation and the World Youth Heart Federation to support India during and in the aftermath of the COVID crisis. The organizations are collecting and deploying resources to India through previously vetted impact partnerships in their network. Through the World Youth Heart Federation, U4I has already deployed over 5,000 medical students across India. Following the interactions with grassroots organizations in India, the short-term need for resources has been prioritized to save lives. With this in mind, the aim is to raise 1.5 million USD for U4I, with the objective of scaling donations to 10 million USD to support the aftermath and address the long-term health and education inequities and support vulnerable and marginalized communities. Spearheaded by the Sadanah Foundation, Archimydes, and the World Youth Heart Federation, www.UMEED.global, is an open-source COVID-19 contact support platform built by the largest global collaborative coalition of doctors, medical students, software developers, and volunteers to support the overburdened infrastructure in India and is now live. Users of this application will be able to virtually chat with a live volunteer and then have immediate access to non- diagnostic advice. The primary focus of the medical and technology development team behind the app is to foster prevention, enable consistent scientific guidance, and fight misinformation to reduce stress and anxiety in society.
